I know that most of this does not apply to the members of our unit and most other units but it is rather aimed at the skeptical people. Mark Twain once said that :

“ A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes”

and this is true concerning the lies of people who accuse us of hacking and others who condemn us.

 

To you I dedicated these sentences, may it put your skeptical mind at peace, even if only for an hour, for gods knows that the only difference between “skepticism” and being “psychotic” is but an hour of sleep.

 

This unit is one of the best around, we have top of the line players that are very experienced and skilled in the game. This includes many people that have played in the top divisions of Cal and even one who was a Cal Anti Cheat admin meaning he spends his time looking for hackers.

 

This unit is just as much against hackers as any other unit, clan, or server. We do not condone it, support it, or endorse it and we do everything we can to keep it out of our server and unit. We have discharged quite a few old members for hacking, thus showing that we do not support any form of it including ghosting. We are just as much a normal unit as any other unit, we have had our fair share of hackers just like any other unit, and we get them out of our unit as quick as possible just like any other unit.

 

Maybe one out of every 50 people hack, so before you skeptical people go around accusing and condemning people of hacking, please respect us and take the time to learn the game, learn how to detect hacks and understand that if someone is doing better than you, it is most likely because they are better, get over it, don't go around making false accusations and lies about this unit.

As promised, once the server was purchased and ready to go I would incorporate simple stats on the sidebar. As you can see the sidebar now shows a lot of information.

 

It shows the players in the game, the map they are playing on, the number of players, IP of the server and of course if you wish to join the server you simply click on the Join Server Button.

 

Under the stats you will see the Ventrilo icon and in big words connect. For the people that have Ventrilo installed just click on the button and it will launch a small pop-up and just click okay and it will connect you to our vent server. If you do not have Ventrilo downloaded click here. (Select one of the client depending on your operation system.)

 

The last update comes concerning the unit history. It has been update by Cpt. Mann with more information. Check it by clicking on the 9th RB link in the navigation bar.

Once the website and the skinning for the forums were done, I started working on the roster, which was the last thing on the list.

 

The roster are now completed, note that I took my information from the roster post in the 9th RB forums, which I myself edited to show some late updates. If you want to check out the roster just click on the roster button in the nav bar.

 

The roster are quite large, since I have to type all of this by hand there might quite a few mistakes, when it comes to names and ranks. If you find any like always pm/msg me (Love) through steam or post a comment on the forum post to let me know.

 

Any mistakes are just that mistakes, I did not tried to misspelled anyone's name or rank on purpose.

On march 30th the 9th RB is having an official scrim against the 84th, the rules are as follow :

 

Map : Sturm

 

Date: May 30th, 2009

Number of players: 10 vs 10

Weapon restrictions: 2-1-1-1

Map restrictions: Sewers On Attack Only. No Boosting, No Surfing.

"OK now that we got the people, I want to have drills this Friday, Saturday and next Friday at 9. That way I know we are prepared for the scrim. Everyone should attend even the substitutes. If you cant show up to those drills just tell me here. If someone doesn't show up to all the sessions then one of the substitutes will take your spot. But if you have a good excuse to why you can't show up to the drills like time difference and stuff, then its ok lol."

If you are in the roster or a sub, remember to try and show up for the drills, if you are not and want to play then stay alert in the forum post because someone might not be able to make it.
